Telegram signal auto-trading: questions and answers

Updated 4 October 2026

The questions traders ask before they connect a channel.

What does Trade Arena do?

Trade Arena copies option calls from the Telegram channels you follow into your own Fyers account. It reads each message with AI, checks the call against the limits you set for that channel, and places the order with a stop-loss and target attached. It then manages exits, follow-up messages and the 3:15 PM square-off.

Which Telegram channels can I copy?

Any channel or group your Telegram account has joined, public or private. You pick from the list of chats you are already in, or paste a private invite link and the app joins it for you. Each channel gets its own instruments, lot size and risk limits.

What if the channel posts in shorthand, or splits a call across two messages?

Each channel is read as a conversation, not one message at a time. A call missing its strike or instrument is held for 10 minutes and merged when the completing message arrives. Follow-ups like "book half", "exit all" or "trail the sl" attach to the trade they mean. A message it is not sure about goes to your approval queue instead of to your broker.

Can I test a channel before risking money?

Yes. Every new channel starts on paper: its calls are simulated, not sent to your broker, and you can watch its record build up. It moves to live trading when its paper record clears the bar shown in the app, or when you switch it yourself.

Can I approve each trade myself?

Yes. Run a channel fully automatic, or in confirm mode, where each entry waits for your approval and times out if you do not answer. A kill switch stops every new entry across every channel at once.

Which broker and instruments are supported?

Fyers, for intraday options: NIFTY and BANKNIFTY plus F&O stock options. Lot sizes and expiries are synced from the exchange master every morning.

What does it cost?

It is free to start, with 1000 tokens on signup. One token is used per order placed. Stop-loss fills, target fills and the 3:15 PM square-off cost nothing. A dedicated static IP, which live API orders require, comes with a free trial and then a monthly fee shown in the app.

Why do I need a static IP?

SEBI's algo-trading rules require every live order placed through a broker's API to come from a static IP registered to you. A home or mobile connection changes address and is shared, so it does not qualify. Trade Arena assigns your account its own dedicated IP; you whitelist it once in your Fyers app.

Is my broker account safe?

Your Fyers keys and Telegram session are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and you can revoke either at any time: the Trade Arena device in Telegram, or the app in your Fyers dashboard. Trade Arena never holds your money; every order is placed in your own account, in your name.

Do I need to keep my phone or computer on?

No. Trade Arena runs in the cloud. You do need to log in to Fyers once each morning, because Fyers access tokens expire every day.

What happens to open positions at the end of the day?

New entries stop near the close, and anything still open is squared off at 3:15 PM IST. The close routine re-checks itself through the evening, so a restart cannot leave a position open overnight.

Is Trade Arena a SEBI-registered adviser?

No. Trade Arena is an order-execution tool, not an investment adviser or research analyst. It does not recommend trades; it places the calls from channels you choose, within the limits you set. Trading in F&O is risky and you can lose part or all of your capital.
