Telegram option trading, automated: from the call to the order

Updated 18 October 2026

Telegram option trading means following the option calls — NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, stock options — that channels post, and placing them in your own account. Trade Arena automates the placing: it reads each call as the channel posts it, checks it against limits you set, and sends it to Fyers or Groww with a stop-loss and a target. This page is what that involves, and how to set it up.

What a Telegram option call looks like

Channels post calls in their own shorthand, and no two post alike. These are all the same kind of instruction:

  • “BUY NIFTY 23150 CE above 70, SL 30, TGT 80/90”
  • “BANKNIFTY 57700 PE @ 118-120 · sl 95 · target 160”
  • “RELIANCE 1400 CE buy at cmp, exit on your own”
  • A call split across two messages: the contract first, the levels a minute later.

From each, Trade Arena extracts the instrument, strike, option type, expiry, entry, stop-loss and target. A call that gives no stop-loss or target is never guessed at: your channel's default percentages apply instead, taken from the real entry price. A call missing its contract is held for ten minutes and completed by the next message. Follow-ups such as “book half”, “exit all” or “trail SL to cost” attach to the trade they mean, because the channel is read as a conversation, not one message at a time.

Why copying an option call by hand loses the entry

An option premium moves while you read the message, open the broker app, find the contract, type the quantity and confirm. By then the entry the channel named is often gone, and a late entry carries the same stop with less room. Automating the placing is not about trading more: it is about taking the call the way it was given, or not at all.

How Trade Arena auto-trades a Telegram option call

  1. Read. The message arrives from your own Telegram account, in the cloud. AI reads it in the channel's own words.
  2. Check. The call is tested against that channel's rules: allowed instruments, lots, capital per trade, your daily loss limit, open-trade limit and market hours. If the live premium no longer fits the call, it is skipped.
  3. Place. The order goes to your Fyers or Groww account as a limit order. “Buy now” becomes a limit just above the live price; “buy above 70” waits for the breakout, and a breakout that has already run too far past the trigger is skipped rather than chased.
  4. Protect. As soon as the entry fills, the stop-loss and target are placed at the broker.
  5. Manage. Partial books, trailing and early exits from the channel are applied; a message can tighten the plan, never widen the stop.
  6. Close. Anything still open is squared off at 3:15 PM IST. No option position is carried overnight.

The trade copier guide goes through each step in detail.

Which option calls it can trade

  • Index options: NIFTY and BANKNIFTY, weekly and monthly. The expiry a call means (“this week”, “next week”, “monthly”) resolves against the exchange's own contract list, synced every morning, so the order names the contract that actually trades.
  • Stock options: any F&O stock, with its current lot size from the same list.
  • Intraday only: every position is closed by the 3:15 PM square-off.
  • Brokers: Fyers and Groww. MCX commodity options trade on Fyers only.

Connecting your broker: Fyers and Groww

Orders are placed in your own broker account, under your own credentials; Trade Arena never holds your money. Live API orders must leave from a static IP registered to you, and every account gets its own (why).

  • Fyers API setup: an API app you create, and a short login each morning.
  • Groww API setup: a TOTP token you create once; Trade Arena signs in for you every morning.

Test a channel on paper before it trades

Every new channel starts on paper. Its calls are read, checked and simulated against live prices, but nothing is sent to your broker, so you can see how a channel's calls would have been traded before any of them is. You move it to live trading when its paper record clears the bar shown in the app, or whenever you choose.

Risk controls you set per channel

  • Lots per trade and capital per trade.
  • A daily loss cap: once hit, no new entry is taken for the rest of the day.
  • Confirm mode: each entry waits for your approval and expires if you do not answer.
  • A Stop trading button that stops every new entry across every channel at once.

What it is not

Trade Arena is an order-execution tool, not an adviser or a research analyst. It does not pick channels or trades; it places the calls of channels you choose, within the limits you set. A channel's call is the channel's. Automation removes hesitation, not risk, and trading in options can cost you part or all of your capital.
